Oscar Soto at The F&C Gallery

Oscar Soto at The F&C Gallery

Join us Sunday October 29th from 11am - 1pm to meet featured artist Oscar Soto.

His show Handmade Nature reflects how humans shape their environment: building comfort and providing shelter. Now our true nature is the house, the city, and the indoor space. Skylines replaced mountains and our longing for existing outdoors is fulfilled with flowers, fruits and domesticated plants that bring joy and beauty to our otherwise squared spaces. True nature is exotic and sometimes overwhelming. Handmade Nature is comprehensible and adaptable.

On Sunday, Oscar will give a brief talk about his background and inspiration. Join us to hear his fascinating story of growing up in San Jose, Costa Rica and his path to Philadelphia and Unionville, Pa.

Meet the founder: Frances from Kindred Skincare

Meet the founder: Frances from Kindred Skincare

A note from Frances:

Over a decade ago, I was introduced to an enlightening concept: Shinrin Yoku, which literally translates to “Forest Bathing.”

This idea is the spiritual core behind Kindred. I wanted to create an organic skincare line that cleansed and nurtured the skin while simultaneously lifting the mind, body, and spirit. What makes Kindred different?

Much like a Shinirin Yoku, we harness the science behind the magical powerhouse of botanicals. We lift the best parts of natures’ bounty and blend them into an effective elixir that will allow your skin to find equilibrium. Our formulas are not purchased or developed by someone else but lovingly curated by years of study, trial, error, and my engineering background.

Once you use any of my hand batched products, made with love and enthusiasm, you are a part of my family, The Kindred Skincare Family!

xo,

Frances

Join us Saturday November 19th from 9am to noon to meet Frances and learn more about her handcrafted skincare.
